Where should you place your information screens? Whether you already use information screens or are considering their value to your organization, below you will find inspiration and practical advice on strategic placement for the most effective information dissemination.
Use information screens where people are passing by 🚶
An information screen catches attention incredibly efficiently, and can be conveniently placed where people are constantly passing by. It is incredible what we are able to catch as we are just walking by. 😅
Brilliant placements can for example be:
- by the entrance - outside or inside! 🏫
- in the reception 🛎
- in the hallway or wherever peole are crowding 🌀
- in the staircase 🆙
Have a look at how smartly they have done it at Clarion Hotel Air, where a public screen has been set up in the trafficked area between the restaurant, reception and entrance area (picture above).
Or check out how the Kvadrat shopping center conveys current mall information to passers-by in the busiest “shopping streets” in the mall (picture below).
And at the Gilje Tre window factory, they have set up digital notice boards in their production premises, which the employees pass by several times a day.
Place an information screen in a place where people stay around
At the same time, an information screen can also be great to have where people spend some time. Think about where people sit or stand for a while.
